• Multi-year investigative series revealed increased pattern in "sober DUI" charges, breathalyzers no longer used by police, outdated background check impacts, state drug test backlog, and passage of two new state laws demanding transparency in sober driving arrests and body camera video
• Broke investigative series into Middle Tennessee town’s traffic ticket quota, uncovering leaders had more than doubled police budget, funded solely by ticket revenue. After report, town reduced the number of officers and slashed budget
• Series followed police oversight in Nashville, after new state law aimed to strip civilian oversight boards of power to investigate officer misconduct claims. Reports revealed stark differences in interpretation of the law and repeatedly pressed police and mayor on what transparency the city’s Community Review Board would receive from police department. The CRB ultimately retained its ability to view police records and video, after initially being refuted by the police and city's legal team

• Series focused on legal/mental healthcare loopholes after college student Jillian Ludwig was fatally shot by suspect who was previously dismissed from shooting charges, deemed mentally incompetent by judge
• Led station coverage on disappearance of college student Riley Strain, making national headlines. Reports included obtaining exclusive surveillance video and interview with last person to see Strain alive. Delivered hard-hitting questions to local police, revealing holes ininvestigation. Following reports, the city appropriated $1.5 million towards fencing and safety along riverside
• Extensive reporting on the Covenant School mass shooting in 2023, and its subsequent impact on school security measures in Tennessee
